You seem to know something about starch blockes, so I wanted to ask these questions. Anyone else with information it is greatly appreciated.
If a person takes starch blockers and it eliminates 400 calories per pill, should a person make up for those calories in other places?
I guess I am wondering because if a person eliminates 400 or 800, calories off a 1200-1600 calorie plan, does a person end up sending his or her body into a starvation mode, particularly if a person uses starch blockers on a regular basis.
I am really looking for a little education on this topic. I have a SIL thinking about using them and I don't know anything about them.
Thanks,
-L

the answer is yes. on low carb plans, you shouldnt count cals, but yes too little will make u go into starvation mode.
