Hello all. I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I am going to anyway. I am a 20 year old female and for some reason anytime I sweat I break out in hives on my face and chest. It is really a humilating problem because everytime I go to the gym I leave looking like a freak! I was wondering, is there anything I can do to prevent this? Or is this something I will have to live with for the rest of my life..? I have always broken out in hives on my chest whenever I get nervous/stressed, but I am positive that the sweat is doing it to me now as well. It is to the point that even when I walk outside (in our 100+ heat!!!) I break out in hives. Is this normal??? Any advice or comments are appreciated. thanks!

hi...i have a simular problem...well sorta.
I break out in hives from my underarms to my wrists...usually after a shower or bath.
Sometimes it will be just randomly during the day...my arms will just itch...and hives everywhere. I haven't changed anything...deo.or deg. or anything.
Funny thing is i can play sports and not break out when sweating....but the next day just walking or even at work in the AC i can get the hives.
I talked to a doc and he suggested Benedryl cream...
I haven't tried it yet as my hives come and go....so sporatic. and they only last about 20 mins.
i do think you should see your doc...or got to a dermatologist...
hope all goes well...thoughts are with you
