My husband and I saw an ad for this diet in the TV Guide... I've seen on the internet that it is a scam... has anybody ever tried it? Thanks.

I work for Phytopharma! I would like to tell you more about it since there isn't much info out there. This plan maintains your metabolism, gets into your stored fat cells and transforms them into energizing sugars. The food that you eat instead of the calories transformed into fat they are consumed and eliminated by natural means. It take 3 to 4 weeks to recieve this b/c of the Company being in Canada and they have to go through customs it is shipped regular mail No rush orders yet!! If taken correctly 3x a day w/ breakfast, lunch and dinner it WILL work. There are no side effects but you MUST eat with it b/c it can cause severe cramps and diahhrea. If taken 3x a day with food you will see results. If you taper off and just do it every once in a while ther is NO WAY for it to do its job!(maintains metabolism even after you finish taking it so there is no need to continue taking it after you reach your desired weight. Oh give me a break! I have never heard of ONE single person losing weight on this ! The only thing I have heard is it is a joke and a scam.

I just came across this product today and went straight to the internet for more info. Now my question to you is, if you say the company is in Canada and you work for this company, why are you in MD, USA? Are you just an employee of their answering service? Because there is no contact number to talk to anyone at the company directly all info is provided by an answering service.

Also, have you used this product successfully, has anybody. Pls. let me know if you have.

Don't waste your money. I took it for 6 weeks and did not lose anything. It also took 3 months for it to arrive, but not for them to charge my credit card.

Thanks for the number, but that too is an answering service. What if we want to reach the company itself in Canada, is there anyway to contact them directly? I am sure the answering service provides plenty of info, but for me to use this product I need some answers from the manufacturing company itself. Pls. provide the number for them in Canada.

And again is there anyone out there, besides Butterfly girl's "friend" who has actually used this product with any success?

I found the ad today and in searching have found SEVERAL different 877 numbers - this is the first time I have seen the one I have - that makes me feel a little better but not much! Why so many numbers???

The reason for all the different phone numbers is because they are all answering services only. There is no way to reach the company itself directly. Which I find a bit un-nerving. When I first read about this product, it sounded great and I really was interested in trying it, but then I read about all these horror stories of how it takes forever to receive the after you place the order and how it doesn't work at all. So I tried to reach the company, but all I kept getting was the answering services. And I have yet to read of anyone who has used the products successfully.

Aside from the shady business side of the Phytopharma product. I can tell you that it is not going to do what Butterfly girl said. No offense, I'm a closet nutritional guru... and I've looked over the formula for this stuff because a buddy wanted me to create a similar formula for him to sell. I told him not to waste his time, as the company was most likely all hype since the formula sucked. The only decent part about it is that it included a few natural diuretics. Other than that, it was all "foo-foo" ingredients. Meaning, that if you lose anything, it will be a little water which your body will replace to stay normal.

Don't bother. I've seen a few different "supplements" based in Canada that are turning out to be marketing scams. What's going on up there?

I bought the Phytopharma diet plan and started it on Wednesday, February, 21, 2001. As of today, Thursday, March 1, 2001, I have lost a total of 2 1/2" off my waist, 4 1/2" off my hips, 2" off my thighs, 1 1/2" off my calves, 1" off my biceps, and have lost a total of 8 pounds. I am VERY happy with this product. Those of you who say it doesn't work...I have a feeling that either you didn't do it correctly or that you expected it to work overnight. I lost approximately one-half inch per day and one pound per day. I recommend this product to anyone who has tried other diets and failed. IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered the plant macerat, recieved within
2 weeks. I started taking it the same day, on a Monday. Today is Saturday, I"ve lost 5 lbs. BUT, I also have been dieting and exercising EVERY DAY! Side effects are that I pee alot,because it does have diuretics in it, and I have had some diarreah, not bad though. I did find that if you don't eat right away, or just eat a little snack,after drinking it, your stomach cramps a little. It's not bad though. Nothing is going to magically make your weight disappear, unless you eat right and exercise. This just helps.

I ordered Phytopharma on Friday 3/30/01. For those of you interested I will post my (hopefull!) success here or my failure. I am choosing to remain optimistic. I am 5'6" and currently weigh 160 pounds. I want to lose 30 pounds. I'll let ya'll know when I recieve it and how I do. Wish me luck!

My experience with this product was a complete rip off. I ordered the pills and did not lose weight, I contacted the company and they were very rude and would not refund my money. They demanded I send the unused pills back via certified mail and they would possibly rufund for the pills I had left. Well, certified mail is very expensive and it would cost more than the original pills. The company and their product are a joke and another bunch of crooks

I think you may be talking about a different product, as this is liquid, not pill form. I also ordered after seeing an add and then checked the web-not encouraging whatsoever!
I decided that this is probably too good to be true and wasn,t willing to waste any more $$ on bogus weight loss stuff. I called the order dept. # two days later, they had not charged my card yet and just deleted my order from their computer(hopefully). Since the company is so hard to reach, I would think twice about this.

I used the 16 plant macerat for about a week and lost 13 lbs. the only thing is i had to stop taking it cause it was starting to make me throw up anything i ate. Yet i still havent gained a pound back. I recommend for you to find out if it is for you and ask your doctor first!!!

I tried that stuff. It DOES NOT work. It took forever to get it. Customer service was awful. I repeat, it does not work. Don't throw away your money. Hope that helps.

i agree with the negative posters. i tried it& not only didnt it work, but it screwed up my metabolism royally& had severe cramping diarrhea& no one dare tell me i didnt eat or do it correctly. as someone said, gimme a break!
