Few months ago, started feeling overwhelimingly tired, stiff, aching, dizzy etc. Had a blood test done, doctor said i had a virus (unidentifiable) but not EBV. Symptoms lasted 3 months, then started to get better for a couple of weeks. Then, i had what the GU clinic said was a very low risk (almost no risk) sexual encounter and i convinced myself i had HIV stressing out in a big way with anxiety. Now, 6 weeks on I have a persistent sore throat, aching glands in neck/groin armpit and some muscle stiffness in the legs, but NO real general fatigue. Could these be symptoms of fibromyalgia? (I tested negative for HIV after 6 weeks,2days). I read that the gland/lymph aches are signs of HIV, could they be due to the virus I had 3 months previous?
