I like Thermasilk. I have midlength coarse wavy hair. I leaves it feeling soft and looks shiny.

For curly hair, if it's naturally curly you'll want something to lock in moisture b/c naturally curly hair is naturally also very dry and frail. I've found that the culr matrix stuff works well though I am not sure if they sell that at the regular stores or not it's been so long since I bought it. You might try Infussium 23, they have a gell that works great with my hair and I have very thick curly hair that gets dry rather than oily if I dont wash it. Odd because I have oily skin though!

Also, Loreal makes some good products for color treated hair and I used to love their shampoo for curly hair!!

A great shampoo/conditioner at a normal store for me is Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine! The Sleek & Shine line is the best and has worked for me for a while now.. it makes your hair super soft! If you have dry hair or heat style your hair I'd recommend this! Thermasilk for dry hair did not work for me and gave me a lot of build up and made my hair SEEM dry, although it did keep it healthy underneath. Loreal is also good, I used the color Vive one once and liked it. Currently I am using Suave Professionals, the one in the orange bottle that is supposed to be like Matrix Sleek Look and it works pretty well. It is also very cheap :) I have long, highlighted, wavy hair but I straighten mine with a flat iron a few times a week or so. Let me know if you find something else you like!
