hobogirl 08-12-2005, 12:15 PM I need to know how to clean my straightener, does anyone have any ideas? It has alot of build up on it. Thanks!! caliente 08-12-2005, 05:46 PM rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. hobogirl 08-16-2005, 09:38 AM I have tried that and it did nothing. caliente 08-16-2005, 12:04 PM maybe you have too much build up on it. you could try scraping it off, but you'll probably end up ruining the plates on the iron. ILHDbagger 08-28-2005, 07:46 PM {Removed} we had this problem.. buy some chemical relaxer (for hair) --because it contains lye, it is GREAT at taking off that stubborn scum. Make some of it, apply it to your irons, only leave on for a few seconds, then wipe clean. if it does not take it off, try a little bit more/ leave it on longer. Don't get your hands on it though..or use gloves! wannahelp 08-29-2005, 09:03 AM use a brillo pad, wipe with dry cloth. |
