I need to know how to clean my straightener, does anyone have any ideas? It has alot of build up on it. Thanks!!

rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball.

maybe you have too much build up on it. you could try scraping it off, but you'll probably end up ruining the plates on the iron.

{Removed} we had this problem.. buy some chemical relaxer (for hair) --because it contains lye, it is GREAT at taking off that stubborn scum. Make some of it, apply it to your irons, only leave on for a few seconds, then wipe clean. if it does not take it off, try a little bit more/ leave it on longer.
Don't get your hands on it though..or use gloves!

use a brillo pad, wipe with dry cloth.
