I dont have health insurence, doc trips that end up being pointless are frustratingly expensive. I think I may have throat cancer, but not sure. My mouth feels fine, except that my tonsils seem like they might be swollen or might be getting int the way of swallowing. Swallowing is a little hard sometimes, but not painfull. The back of my throat feels ok, but the front of my throat at the base feelsa like one of the rings in my neck are swollen and the same with the top of my throat where it joins with my mouth. Other then those, there are no lumps or bumps in my throat or mouth, I often have the urge to spit, but never blood or mucus, just saliva. I used to smoke but quit 3 weeks ago. Anyways I've had these symptoms for a while now..maybe even as long as a year, not sure really, I dont even think they've gotten worse over that year, just Ive started to worry more about it since it hasnt gone away. Anyways like I said I know I prolly should go see a doctor, but if its not something life threatning I cant affoprd the treatment for it, and If I go in for a checkup and everything is ok, Ill feel pretty mad at myself for wasting the money. Well thanks for any advice anyone might offer.
Take care and be nice to one another,
Dave
