most people think i'm crazy and worrying about my health too much, but i feel like it's very wrong for others to judge when they don't know how you feel. and it's very strange that people who seem much less healthy than myself are the one's judging me the most. but comments aside, i am going on my first cleanse.
i started my "sickness" early on. in fact my whole life because i have a heart condition and every time i felt bad i just blamed that. i've been on two medications for 11 years now (!) anyways, turned 18 started breaking out! which unfortunately, if you can see it, better chances of you trying to make it better. so i bought every topical medication there is. .... i'm sure you already know the outcome. so i finally went to a trusty worthy man that owns a spa and he told me i was quite obviously defiecent. (he described it as anemic) he could just tell by looking at me.
so then i bought everything for anemia. well it my search of anemia i was told about candida. and well, yep, i have most of those symptoms and they've been there for about as long as the acne. (i am on bcpills now which i thought would help the acne, but i realize they prob. don't ...there are bigger reasons for taking them though.)
so then i started researching the candida. ahhhh!!! all so fustrating and no one to really guide me. but trial and error has made me stronger and i'm definetely learning a lot.
so i'm starting "first cleanse" by renew life. also i'm eating less sugar and more veggies and clean proteins, also a good enzyme with my food.
i am taking the 60 day challenge!!! which this certainly will be starting at a new school and a new job!
any advice, personal stories, anything would be great. so hopefully all will be well and i'll start to feel better. to every one else on the journey to feel good, god speed and good luck!

Hi I don’t now renew life, or the 60 day challenge. But if you are trying to combat Candida I would say less sugar won’t cut it. No sugar, yeast products, white bread, white rice, potatoes, foods with high sugar content (fruits), etc. at all while you are doing the diet.

There are different variants of the Candida diet out there, which can be confusing, but if you want I would gladly go in to more detail with the one I followed.

I have done a diet for Candida twice. The first one I did some five years ago.

Candida feeds on sugar so you need to remove carbohydrate high foods from your diet. You can eat foods low on carbs and high in protein such as meat, chicken, fish and non starchy vegetables.

Avoid:
Sugar all forms as honey, syrup etc.
Fruit
Potatoes (high in sugar)
Any thing made with yeast: bread, vinegar, alcohol etc.
Foods with mould: peanuts, peanut butter
Processed foods: Cheese, hotdogs etc.
Refined foods: refined flour, pasta, white rice etc.
Coffee, black tea, (I’m not quite sure on this one. It is some years ago I did this program, and have since done other cleanses, liver, kidney etc. where I stopped drinking coffee and black tea)
Some also recommend to avoid dairy products. Organic plain yogurt is ok.

Eat:
Vegetables, chicken, meat, fish, brown rice, rye bread (non yeast variants), spelt bread (non yeast), oatmeal porridge, almonds

The first time I did this I followed this strictly for a month, and then started to eat fruit. I didn’t take any supplements to support the diet. It took me approximately 8 months to get rid of an infection that was visible on my skin. I had this infection for 20 years and had tried prescription creams.

The second time (just completed the diet) I did it for 3-4 months without relaxing the diet i.e. no fruit. I supplemented the diet with Ipe Roxo tea, and a product called Candida Clear with Pau D'Arco, Oregano Oil and Black Walnut.
