Hello
Wondering if someone has any ideal what this strange/weird feeling is I get most mornings. I am a 38 year old female.
After I have woken up and still in bed, I get a tingling sensation in my buttocks. Then after I have gotten up and about 15-20mins after I have eaten breakfast my body then feels really strange like a nervous feeling and my head feels cloudy & lightheaded and its hard to focus on things. I don't come right until about 2-3 hours after having gotten up and after I have eaten something at around 10am. So I thought it must be my blood sugar but I have been testing it and its usually around 4.2 first thing in the morning before eating. I am wondering then if its a blood pressure thing although I have had my blood pressure checked from time to time but during the day when my body 'feels normal'. Its within the normal range.
I only feel this strange feeling first thing in the morning. The worse the tingling sensation, first thing, the worse my body feels.
I've been like it for about 20 years and its really annoying.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
Thanks.

Have you ever taken antibiotics? Because you could possibly have candida (which develops from taking antibiotics)...

Hello
Thanks for your suggestion.
No I haven't taken antibiotics but I do get thrush from time to time which I have cream for. I don't know how thrush relates to my symtoms though?

the tingling sensations may be from your body just waking up. you know how your foot falls asleep sometimes when you sit on it or whatever it's very similar...i get that when i sit for hours at a time and i don't get up my butt feels numb and when i switch positions i get a tingling sensation, causing the circulation to get moving. you may be sleeping in one position for too long and the circulation gets slower in this certain area of the body.as for the nervous feeling maybe your blood sugar dips during the night? do you eat sugar before sleep?that doesn't help. try eating something with protein in it before bed like a peice of sandwich meat or a glass of milk. this used to happen to me. my blood sugar would dip in the night and my body would wake me up in panic. i am not diabetic either. my doctor told me i had mild hypoglycima(i spelled that wrong). i started to eat a bit of protein at before bed and i don't wake up in the middle of night with panic or dizzy feelings anymore. so it wouldn't hurt to try what i did. you should also talk to your doctor about, they can do a better blood work check than you, just to be safe.ya never know it may just be a mineral deficiancy or something.

Hello
Thanks for your suggestion. I will try the protein at night first. I am also going to go to a Naturopath.
