i have somewhat wavy hair but i staighten it with an iron and sometimes use a curling iron if i am sick of my hair and need a change. I have bangs in front. i need a new style and not sure if i should get a perm, someone told me lot's of people are now getting perms again that they are "in"... i have had perms before i liked them then i got sick of my hair but i don't know what to do. i was also thinking of getting blonde highlights but do they look good on people who have bangs in front? i might even grow my bangs out. I am at that point where i don't know what to do with my hair anyone have the same problem?

I have been having the same problem myself. Im pregnant and my hair is very dry with no body, but I can't chemically do anything ot my hair. I ended up going to the shair dressers and chopping it all off. In the past though I have purchased those hair style mags to get some ideas.

I get a perm twice a year and have been for the past 3 years. I don't care if they're 'in' or not. It makes my hair easier to manage because I dont have to spend time on it anymore. Just wash, scrunch and go. Curly hair has never been 'out' either. That crimpy "I just got a perm" look fades after you have had it for a week or two and I'm left with beautiful curls. Mark Anthony has a good line of hair products for curly hair too.
