I have been on Crestor and it has brought down my cholesterol. Now my doc wants to add Metformin and I am a bit anxious about adding another drug which is hard on the liver.

However, I am continuing to gain weight and diet and exercise just aren't working like they used to, probably because I am also in menopause - or that is my doc's opinion.

Anyone been on BOTH drugs at the same time? Thanks!
