My sister has had a problem for the past few months with what looks like small broken blood vessels under the skin on the tops and sides of her feet. They are red and look like a rash under the skin. Her feet do not itch; occasionally are swollen a little. She has also developed a ganglion cyst on the top of her right foot. It's about 1 1/2 inches in length, does not hurt and is soft to the touch. She is most concerned about the broken blood vessels--her feet look red and discolored. She is obese--about 80 lbs overweight. Any ideas?
