I'm 48 and have always had a natural curl to my hair. For some reason over the past 6 months my hair is getting very, very curly. It looks like pin curls all over my head. I know I'm entering that perimenopause stage but would this be one of the "changes"?

it could very well be hormonal changes. my hair was always mostly straight with a slight wave to it, but after having a baby it got much wavier and even curly underneath. i am NOT happy about it lol! but yeah, your hair can change with hormonal changes.

My hair had always been very curly..I have 2 kids and after each one it got less curly...yippee....Well now at 56 it has been getting curlier and curlier...so I do think that hormones play in big part in this. Hormones are a wonderful thing... (just kidding..haha)

Thanks for your replies. I've never had children so haven't gone thru that change.
