I dye(permanant) my hair regulary not just the roots like usually a whole diffent colour alltogether.
If i keep dying my hair does my hair not dye as good. Like dyes wont work on it as easily?

Also what happens to your hair if you keep on dying it?
i want to know the consequences, i do u like the colour shampoo and conditioner, the ones which look after coloured hair but i dont think they'd work against the consequences whatever they are.

thankyou

I dyed my hair using semi-permanent, then permanent, back to semi-permanent dyes for several years and finally was forced to stop using dye or be completely bald. My hair had been weakened so bad it was breaking off at the scalp, getting worse as time went by, ending up with very thin hair and receding along my forehead.

It has been 7 months and my hair is slowly growing back in. My hair grows very slow.

Dye of any kind will damage hair over time. Some people have stronger hair than others to start with and may take longer to completely ruin the hair and others may only dye a short time and have very bad damaged hair.

Dye usually removes the sheen from the hair. Now that my hair is growing back, I now have a lovely sheen on the new growth, something I had not seen in years.

Remember, dye will first strip color from your hair to a certain degree then colors the hair. They are made with "lifters", that is, something that lifts part of the color before the dye color takes place in the process.

i have dyed my hair yesterday and it went an awful colour like completely different than the result. Still my hair is in pretty gd shape, but to get rid of the colour now i would need to dye it again. How long after the first dye should i wait to dye it back to normal.

Thanx for b4, after it has gone back to my normal colour by dying it again. i dont think id want to dye it again for a very long time after that.

you should wait at least two weeks before re-coloring.
