Hi, Please would someone help, unfortunately I am one of these people who hates seeing the doc so I would appreciate any hlp at all.

I am 27, male, and lead a fairly healthy lifestyle, drink a bit at weekends, and have smoked on and off for around 11 years though. The only medication I am on at the moment is omprazole 20mg a day because of a stomach acid problem.

I have recently been experiencing some quite worrying symtoms, the only way to describe it is a tightness in my right arm from the shoulder down as if someone is giving me a blood pressure test but only their not, the veins in my arm pump, and my arm goes hard, this lasts between 3-4 seconds only. I sometime get chest pains.

This has only happened 3 times in the past 2 months or so.

please would someone give me their opinion, thankyou for your time.

If you are the least bit worried it is your heart, go to a Doctor. It will make you feel much better when you find out it's not your heart. Almost sounds like muscle spasms.

I agree go to your doctor eventhough you do not like too .Thing is once you find out that can ease or mind even if something was wrong because then you could get treatment for it.Not knowing is the worst feeling and causes anxiety.I also agree with the last post I doubt it is anything that serious.I still say though dont just take my word or anyone elses for it take your doctors word.

good luck

Hi thanks for you posts, I went to my chemists today and had my blood pressure taken and was tested for diabetes, my highest reading was 145 over 79 and my blood sugar was 5.8. I have decided to see the registrar on thursday,

Do you think it will mean blood tests etc?
