i have an aberrant right subclavian artery which compresses my trachea by 40%. This difficulty breathing which comes from this has slowly worsened over the years. What I don't understand is why, at rest, sometimes i get very bad days where i can't get any air in. I've done more research than I can remember, but no one has any ideas. Surgery is too dangerous and we still aren't to sure why i have such symptoms. Other symptoms include difficulty swallowing, losing feeling in my legs and arms during exercise, chest pain, palpitations and so on. I'm not sure what to do, but I'm hoping someone has some idea of what to do next or they might know of someone who has similar problems!

Hi I have just been diagnosed with an aberrant right subclavian artery also after about 2 years of neck and shoulder pain and the feeling something is stuck in my throat, exercising is difficult also I just found this out so any info you have would be much appreciated . The docs say they will keep an eye on it but when all these things keep happening it's hard not to worry. Thank you
