Hi bluefairy,

I do hope you call your dr. today. I hope he is a gastroenterologist. Your problem, could be a hiatal hernia or a problem with your esophagus. You may need an upper endoscopy to really get it checked out good. I take sucralfate, in addition to Nexium. It sort of coats your stomach, I do not know if it coats your esophagus.

I hope you gets some help, later on today. Take care and feel better. Wannabe
