I was wondering if anyone ever got this done and if so......could you tell me about it.....cost, pain, how many sessions, did it grow back, were you happy with the results, what type of place did you get it done at. Thanks.

I have been considering having this done myself. The cost in my area(virginia) will be $300 a session. They say it depends on the individual,it could take anywhere from 4-6 sessions. They also say that the hair could grow back down the road....like when you have hormonal changes(menapause..SP?).I talked to one of the girls at the salon I go to for bikini waxes and she says there is minor discomfort for a day or two.I get the brazilian wax(everything gone, even up my tail) and I always have discomfort for at least a day.It actually feels like sunburn, doesn't hurt unless you touch it.Hope this helps.

Thanks, I didn't realize it would be so expensive. Sounds like $1200 and its not even a guarantee it won't grow back. I'm just so tired of all the red bumps and having to deal with the whole thing every time I want to put a bathing suit on last minute.

I've been wanting to get this done as well, but not just bikini, brazilian. I didn't realize it was so expensive either, but it may depend on your area, the salon, etc. I'm pretty sure I saw a promotion in my area (BC, Canada) for $99/session. I'd also like to hear from anyone who has had this done. I want to know if it's worth it or not!

I had this done. It costed me $1,300 for five sessions. It was brazilian. The cost depend on how much you want off. If it's only two inches it will cost aprox $300, a extended one will cost around $700 and the full brazilian (that is everything up to the butt) is what i paid. This is in a upscale salon east US.
Is the hair permanently removed? Yes, absolutetly. It's been a year I don't have any other session and the hair has not grown back. Now let me tell how this works, you need the different session because the hair grows at different rates. I was quite hairy in the area so five sessions I will say it took off 80% of the hair so I need about 2 or 3 more sessions. Is it worth it? Absolutetly. It's worth every penny. Is it painful? Yes it is but again for having the hair permanently removed it's worth it. I think going for a tattoo would be more painful. I recomend to anyone.

Is it more painful than a bikini wax?

Is it more painful than a bikini wax? I never did a bikini wax so cann't really tell but having attempting wax in the legs I would say it's just about that amount of pain.
