My gosh Barrie...60 days already?!!!! WOW...THAT IS GREAT!!! Yes, woo-hoo!
Don't say you fancy a ciggie...LOL...DON'T EVEN SAY THAT!!! SAY AND THINK HOW MUCH YOU HATE THE LITTLE BUGGERS!!! I want to see you reach your 1 year mark, and come here and post n' brag about it, okay? Good job Barrie!!
Bhara...congrats to you too, good going, but NO more cheating okay? That's just playing with the devil, one drag here or there, and you get hooked again...leave em completely alone and you'll be fine! :)
Have a great day ya guys...

Deda. John,
Thanks for the support, I guess I need help now.. after two and half months, I still cannot hate cigarettes with all my heart, so I fooled myself to believing one cigarette once in a while (there had been a gap of atleast 10 days between the 3 i smoked). I am like the battered wife who keeps on thinking of going back to husband atleast once in a while.
Today, I am going to smoke one more, which will be my last cigarette.. forever... God I dont understand why I cant hate them yet.. Even after giging me an ischemic heart.

Bhara--
Sometimes the battered wife ends up dead if she doesn't leave the abuser....please cut off this relationship completely. One here and there will soon hook you back up 100%, 24/7 full fledged addiction. Leave em alone, please! Those few cigs only make you crave them more!
And as for starting to hate them..well, be patient! :nono: It took me at least 9 to 10 months before I started to really hate them. I did miss them at first, I'm not going to lie. But now, after 23 months, I really hate/despise them! You will too, Bhara, if you stay off of them long enough. JUST NO CHEATING, okay??? You CAN DO IT!
Fight hard, don't ever give up!
Deda :)

Hi Bharat,
I am with Deda on this one again. She is right. Those filthy things will just add to your problems sooner or later too. I see you are dealing with another serious issue right now and possibly others as well. Yes I am sure it’s hard to hate ciggs as much as others who have hurt you, but believe me they are hurting you too, just slower and deeper and with long term affects. I know you will really quit and be done with them for good soon too for sure!!!
I will keep you in my prayers
Good luck and God Bless
Sincerely
John

Bharat--Way to go...you mean then that you haven't smoked, I take it? :) Hang in there, and just be patient...you will get to the point some day, when smoking will disgust you. You just have to be smoke free long enough! Once you're off them for a while, and you start enjoying ALL the many rewards quitting offers, you'll HATE it! Just don't smoke, Baharat! :nono: You can stay smoke free--if YOU REALLY WANT TO!!!!! :nono: It's up to you, and only you! Keep busy, and try your hardest to focus on other things,....don't even be thinking about smoking, alright? Good luck!! :)
raskul--All I can say is, make sure you have made up your mind 100% that YOU REALLY want to quit! NOT 95%, but it has to be 100%, or don't even bother!! If you have that, and you're still having a difficult time,...then maybe you need some form of nicotene replacement therapy....I did. (nic gum, patches, lonzeges, etc.) Stay away from smokers, throw away EVERYTHING you have that has to do with smoking, and just hang in there. Exercise daily too, if you're able. If you hang in there long enough, it WILL become easier. (It's not always going to be like it is in the beginning!) :)
And if you believe in prayer, well then pray! :nono:
Best of luck to both of you guys!
Deda :D
I'll be leaving on my vacation tomorrow, and I'll check in on you guys when I get back. I hope you'll both have good news to report...okay? I'll take along my lap top, but don't know if I'll actually feel like getting online..or have time, but I'll try. :)
See you after a week or so. :)
