over the summer i've been playing around with my haircolor. i put red strieks in it in june and those are still there but i also tried putting blonde in it and the blonde is way too light for me. I hate it and school starts soon! is there any way to get rid of a bad hair color without dying it again?

no there isnt rele.
all i know is you can lighten your hair which strips the colours off and your left with rele light blonde , then u dye it again the colour u want. this isnt always reliable though because the colour u put on after maybe lighter or your hair will be orange and continue to have red in it from the red streaks.

your best bet is to dye over the streaks u have, the light blonde streaks should be done again with a colour u find is best.

i dont think there is an actual product which takes the haircolour off sorry

*clueless*

There is a product you can us.A color stripping kit.I cant think of a brand name but i usually find it at CVS,it will remove all the color from your hair. You will have to redye your hair afer using it.

If you are going to color your hair more than a few shades darker, you really need to see a professional.

WHY? If you are going from blonde (which is a color that does not have a lot of pigment or "natural color" in it) to a darker shade, like medium brown you will need to first "fill" in the missing pigments (or colors). You stylist will probably put an orange base in your hair (DON'T worry  , I know, it sounds bad... :)) and then apply the darker color. If you neglect this important step, your hair will be a lovely shade of green or grey...

Just remember finger paints, it takes a lot of different colors to create a pretty shade of brown (orange really is one of them :)...

Have fun at school! :p
