I had six years of bad PAP smears (colposcopies that were normal.) It coincided with when I started using tampons exclusively. I stopped using them and never had a bad one again! I miss them but my health is worth it!

Im pretty sure an object can't increase the rate of cell growth, but i guess you cant rule it out - though in all my tons and tons of research I've never heard any mention of anything like this. Congrats on your clear paps - many times they go away on their own, which is great.

Yeah good to hear on the clear paps. Maybe in her case she was allergic to tampons or something. I never use tampons and still got the abnormal pap so that's not it for me.
