Hi,
About a month ago I found out I had chlamydia so the nurse at the STD center gave me a 7 day dose of doxy....somethin. Not sure what its called off the top of my head. About 3 days after I finished treatment I called the place I tested at to schedule another STD test just to make sure it was gone and the nurse recommended that I don't re-test which i thought was odd. Now been a couple weeks since then. Anyone with chlamydia, have you re-tested after treatment or just assumed it was gone?

I think you have every right to be suspicious ... I had Chlamyida last August and was told to come back for a re-test one week after taking my meds. Although it is more likely you'll test negative than positive, there is still a chance it didn't go away.
Since Chlamydia can lead to PID and cause infertility if left untreated, I feel it's better to take the test again and be sure, than not take it and be sorry later down the road.

Thanks for the reply, appreciate it. Yea that's what I did i just went in anyway a couple days ago to take the test again. Now i guess its just wait and see for the results.

u know what i had that one day stuff took 4 for atibotiox men my boyfriend took it cause i had chlamyidia sooo.. me n my boyfriend took it @ the same time but the dumpest thing is we had sex with no condom the same day. but are chlamyidia is gone cause that stuff cleared it all but yea it should of went away
