to make a long story short.. i was raped about 2 months ago. a few weeks after this happened, i found a blister on my vagina and had a few more symptoms of herpes like itching and discharge. i went to the doctor and had tests done for everything, including herpes, and everything came back negative. i was relieved but only for a short time, because today i found something else on my vagina that looks similar to the original blister but smaller. i looked more closely and i had little red bumps, and i haven't shaved in a couple weeks so i don't think it's from that. i called the doctor to find out how accurate the tests are because i don't even think i had an open sore when my herpes test was done, but they haven't gotten back to me. anyone have any ideas of what this could be? is it definitely herpes and the doctor was wrong? please help, i'm only 17 years old and this is so much to handle all at once )o:

it might be herpes b/c you cant really test for it until the outbreak occurs........but just to be safe get a test done when the sores opens

First of all. Let me tell you how sorry I am that this is and has been happening to you. It is FAR too much to handle at 19. I'm 16, and I was raped when I was 3, 5, 8 by my father, so I do know what you are going through, and I am sorry... I just wanted to tell you that...

Now 2ndly.. About the doctor. You might want to wait until the sores are open, so the gyno can get a full exam done. I'm not really sure what else. i've only been to the doctor once (july 7th of this year, i've only been sexually active for four months) and my cultures came back normal...

now i'm having symptoms of genital warts...

SO They dont catch everything. *******s...

Good luck.. I wish you tha best :-(
