How long should you wait before dying hair again? My situation is pretty simple. For 2 years I had no dyes in it and was growing it out and it was so silky and healthy (it was dark sandy blonde/light brownish naturally) then about 3 months ago I dyed it dark brown. It faded ALOT and I dyed it darker again about 3 weeks ago. But it's already fading again (i think from using the tanning bed and not wrapping my hair in a towel as I now know you are supposed to do). I just don't want to damage it too much. In highschool I dyed it every color and alot of bleaching, it broke off in chunks! So that's why for 2 years I grew it out very healthy. It actually became so healthy it would not curl or stay in a style. Anyway...

Is it too soon to dye again? This time I am going to use fade resistant shampoos and conditioners and keep it out of the tanning bed! I've only dyed it twice in 2 years!

the longer you can wait, the better. but you should wait at least two weeks between each coloring.
