I took a .5 Lorazepam 4 days in a row as needed. I did not take one today. These past 4 days are the first time in my life I've ever taken a benzo, so I'm not used to them at all. They did help calm me down when I needed them, but today all day I felt rather motion sensitive, like my head was swimming a little, and a little woozy. Would this be an effect of not being used to the benzos? I would assume that someone who's never taken this stuff before could feel something like this after taking them for four days in a row even without taking one today, but I'm not sure.
Thanks.

I take the same thing on an as needed basis. Please be careful taking them everyday as they can be addicting. Do you take anything other then a benzo?
That head swimming feeling I have had that also but that was only after I had to take it days in a row.
But you have to remember everyone is different and meds have different effects on people.
Call your doctor if it is a concern better to be safe then sorry.
keep us posted ok?
Take care Nathan

they make me really light headed and sleepy sometimes kind of nauseous.. but to me its better then dealing with a full blown anxiety attack filled day.

Sounds like its a common side effect of benzos, it should go away after your body adjusts to them.

I know they're addictive....trust me, I spent weeks asking about them because I don't want to get addicted to these things. Is there anything else I should know?

Every time I see anything about benzo's on this board I go to it and read. I have a morbid facination with these pills because I was once addicted and wish I could take them again. It is hard for me to read posts because I am feeling jelous that I cant take them and it brings back the memory of how they made me feel, but yet the morbid part of me goes to the post to read it.
It got so bad that I was buying pharmeceuticals off the street. Last night I was walking home with my family from dinner out and found a baggy full of some sort of pills. The thought crossed my mind to bring them home and find out what they were. But thank god I have more sense then that. I would not have had that sense while I was taking pills they took over my whole life and those pills were all I thought of.
SOme people can take benzo's successfully. I happen to have an addictive personality so I know I can never again take anything addicting. However that does not mean that you will have the same experience but please be careful.

But when your body does adjust to them, it takes more to do the job!! So watch out for the addiction factor.

People, if you have read any of nathan's previous posts, you know he is as paranoid as the most paranoid person about benzos. He FINALLY got up the courage to take one and I think it will help him a lot. Please don't scare him off again from some much needed relief ;)
If ther eis one person who would not let himself get addicted it is him :)

Nathan:
I get that motion sensitive feeling when I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack. Maybe it's not the medication, just the anxiety. The meds can make you feel woozy too, but you said you didn't take it today. They wear off after about 4 hours, and you've only been on them for a few days, so I doubt it's withdrawal. If you think the dose is too strong, try cutting the pills in half. Good luck, try not to worry.
