Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, as well as anyone listening at all. I noticed, a couple weeks ago, three bumps on the shaft of my penis and one I noticed later down in the pubic hair region of my groin that appear to be strikingly similar to hair follicles, or ingrown hairs or whatever, but I'm still worried, because I've had unprotected sex with several different partners. These are tiny little bumps, again, the size of a hair follicle, flesh-colored, but they appear to be more prominent than other hair follicles in the same area. I looked at pictures of genital warts and they looked nothing like what I have, so I don't know what to think. I tried to squeeze one (I know, dumb decision) and it didn't really do anything, besides make it a little bigger. Any help is appreciated. The next obvious step is to go to a doctor but I want to make sure I'm not just freaking myself out, because since I started thinking about it I really started overthinking it. Thank you for listening, again, any help is appreciated.

I would not worry too much about this--it could very well be nothing-perhaps irritated hair follicles from wear an tear. You may have had this all along and just noticed it now. It could be molloscum contagiosum which is a skin condition that children often get in day care centers, but it is also sexually transmitted. They look sort of like pimple with a slightly depressed center ( like a pin hole). If squeezed they will sometimes ooze a bit of white matter, but usually nothing comes out. My boyfriend in college had this and gave it to me. I think it goes away on its own, but can also be removed. It is also possible that it is warts. The phpts on line are of extreme cases, usually they are flesh colored and somewhat flattened unless they have been growing a long time. I also contracted warts from the same guy in college--it was quite a year for me. Don't be scared. Go to your doctor and get it looked at and you will feel better. Like I said, it could be nothing and any of the things it could be are very treatable.
Good luck!

Hun go to your local health dept, they can offer you free medical treatment or at least inexpensive treatment on a sliding scale fee where you will play little or nothing. If you are worried enough to post about it then I would suggest getting it checked out for YOUR piece of mind

dude, If you had any unprotected sex go get tested for all std's. I am not trying to scare you but it is always better to know if you have something than let it go because most of the stuff out thier is very treatable if you do it in a timely matter. I would say the liklehood of warts is high because they are so prominent and contagious. I had them about 8 months ago..had them treated and have not seen them for about 2 months now. Use this as a lesson and start protecting yourself from now on. I learned my lesson and feel fortunate that I did not get something worse.

But you can still pass the genital warts on even with protection.
