Just diagnosed with Mitro Valve Proplapse. Has anybody heard of Lyme being related to Mitro Valve Prolapse with the Heart?

Doc said the two arent related in my case. Just wondering becuase I had been experiencing other symptoms similar to when I had lymes 3 years ago but they have since faded away and this problem was found about a week ago during an Echo.

Hi Crimson. Did your Lyme doctor say they were not related?

I don't know of any specific connection between the two, but Lyme disease and Babesiosis can cause heart problems.
