Austin Powers

Hello,

I'm Shelby, and I'm new to this forum. I'm a 30 year old woman, 31 in October and I'm at the higher end of the Spectrum. I'm independent emotionaly, but not financialy. Sometimes I have a hard time around people. I'm not shy by any means, but I do try to be all serious, sometimes. It back-fires on me, than I start doing my Austin Powers impressions. My nic-name is short for Austin Powers Fan, but I couldn't get all the words in. I'm obsessed with the British 60s. I have been for eleven years. People tell me not to be a creature of habit, and they don't realize that I'm not trying to hold on to a Sameness. I'm Average to Slightly Above in Intelligence. :jester: :)

Hello Shelby,
Welcome to the board! It's nice to meet you. I'm rather new to this board too. My name is Karen and I am the mother of twin boys who are 2 and a half years old that have recently been diagnosed with Autism. Bye for now!

hi shelby,I am the mother of 3 my oldest daughter who will be 7 at the end of this month has pdd she was diagnosed 4 years ago.I am also 31.Thanks to people like you i am finally coming to terms with the fact that my daughters pdd is probably genetic and that she probably inherited the genes from me.I do have some autistic tendencies but have never been officially diagnosed.so i did not get any early intervention but i made it through school just fine academically and socially and i am married and like i said i have 3 kids the 2 youngest are perfectly normal.I also have some friends that i have had for years.Thank You so much hope to hear form you again soon.
