I have heard that wating wholegrains is good and recently i bought a 100% wholegrain bread which has a very dark chocolate colour and hard.However i find it taste very salty,is that normal?

The best bread in my opinion is a light whole wheat. Nature's Own makes delicious whole wheat bread.

HI peace--

There are as many recipes for whole grain bread as for white. Sounds a bit like you may have gotten a very coarse bread, and perhaps not fresh,either.
there are softer whole grain breads, some 100% whole wheat, some with oat (very very good for you) whole rye, or other grains, etc. shop around--bread is wonderful. unfortunately, its what made me fat,so i now have to limit it compared to the huge bread-fests i used to enjoy.
