What color is discharge when you have herpes?... Early stages... or for a while, it doesn't matter...

I've never had a discharge with herpes....Are you sure it's not coming from a yeast infection or another kind of infection? Has a doctor diagnosised you with herpes or are you speculating???? Wondering, -shinyOrn

Me neither - not with herpes. Bacterial vaginosis or a yeast infection, yes.

no discharge here. If you have unusual discharge, call your doc. Yeast can cause a cottage-cheesey discharge and bacterial infections can cause foul smelling and/or colored discharge.

i think that i have genital herpes even though my test results came back negative. i have a little blister-like bump on my upper inner thigh and little red bumps all over my vagina. i also have been having clearish/yellowish discharge. is that characteristic of herpes? my doctor said the discharge and even the blisters could be from a yeast infection, but i'm pretty sure it's herpes )o:. any advice about it?

how were you tested? A culture can give a false negative if it isn't timed properly and if the specimen is mishandled. A blood test requires 12-16wks for an accurate answer. Unusual discharge is not a symptom of herpes, though.

Okay! I was just seeing if I had herpes or not. But, I' m thinking I don't. The bumps that I have are sort of red sort of now, and there's brown discharge. ALOT of it. It's disgusting. I'm pretty sure it was from my period though, because now I'm on it. BUT I'm still getting it, There is more discharge then there is blood, so that is scaring me really really bad. What should I tell them to look for when I go?... Any clue?

Just tell them what you posted here. That you have a lot of unusual discharge and bumps. I'm not sure if they can do it while you're on your period, but usually they can do a swab and look at it under a microscope and tell you for sure if it's yeast. If it is, you can get either a Rx pill or OTC meds to treat it.

One thing to check for: see if you've accidentally left a tampon up inside you for a long time. That can cause lots of smelly, brownish discharge. Sometimes you can even fit another in front of an old one. So take out whatever you know you have in there, then check with your finger all around, as deeply as you can.

If it 's not that, please do go to the gyn, and just let him/her look.

What color is the discharge with Genital Warts?... ANY clue? I'm almost positive I have that.

I don't know anything about genital warts. I would guess it shouldn't affect your discharge, but like I said, I have no idea. Hope someone can answer you.

If the dishcarge is gone and your period ended then it's quite possible it was just a cyclic change in your discharge.

There is no discharge with warts.

But I've read... that there is an increase in discharge. For sure, Im not sure where I read it at, but I know for sure that I did?.... It never said what color though.
