I was diagnosed with anxiety a year ago and given Paxil CR. After Paxil CR was out of the market I was given regular paxil but it simply did not work. I was very sleepy all the time and i had a feeling of being on edge all the time. Add to that a constant headache that could not be aleviated with aspirin nor any other otcs. When paxil CR came back i was prescribed the pill again at 25mgm which was my regular dosage. But it didn't work at all, the headache and sleepiness was still there. My doctor switched me to Zoloft, 7 days on 25mgm and 14 days on 50 mgm. I am on my 10 day of 50 mgm and i feel much less sleepy but the headache is still there. The anxiety is mild to none (no tremors, no "electricity" in my hands etc.) but i wonder if the ssris are causing this headache? I am seeing my doc in 4 days but i just can't wait to hear if there is something out there for this headache. I feel like droping all meds at once!

i am on lexapro, very low dose. it seems like i have a headache off and on all day. not bad but there.i think it is the medication. doesn't respond to average pain killers.
