I was told by a psychiatrist that Lexapro increases migraine frequency. MY neurologist told me that this is not true. Has anybody who gets migraines experineced this and can tell me either way? It's making me hesitant to start this med. Also, I hear there's a bad possible interaction with triptans and SSRIs...anybody with migraines know more about this??

Thanks.

Hmmmm. I have had migraines for about 10 years, and have been on Lexapro for about 9 months. I haven't noticed any change in the migraines.

That's at least encouraging to hear. And the all-important second question....does anybody have an issue or been told to not take their triptans while on lexapro?
