View Full Version : I eat WAY too little

I'm just wondering because I sometimes get scared if i'll just randomly die one day or something ;)

but seriously, i just have really bad eating habit, i'm 19 about 5' 6 or 7(not too sure with the "english system" and about 135-150 lbs (it seems to change every time i do it every other month)

i can't say i'm very active most times but i do like working out/"rocking out" at concerts and when i go out i do a lot of jumping and a lot of activity, but it is true i spend a lot of time just on sitting in computers (home/work) and i'm not active at all there.

I seem to mostly just eat two meals a day, around 3-5 my "main" meal, and then at night a "sugar" meal

by "main" meal i mean when i eat something that is what most people have for dinner, it is most of the time microwavable or frozen dinner type of stuff, sometimes fast food and ocattional restaurants / actually home cooked meals.

by "sugar" meal i mean at night i eat cookies and milk most of the time (like a whole row of cookies from a pack so thats about 8-10 cookies (chocolate chip) or other times i'll have cereal.

this is my typical schedule of course it changes but basically a good "stereotype" of my eating habits. Sometimes i eat very little during the day though, i don't know, there are also other times were i eat all day, and i don't think i have any anorexic tendencies or anyhting because gaining weight or anything like that really doesn't matter to me and i know i'm not fat at all, i know i'm skinny but when i don't eat as much i don't want to cause anything bad because i already am skinny, and I can eat a lot, whenever someone is betting something or dare me or im just being leechy i can eat a lot. I don' tknow i do try to take vitamin pills every now and then (because i forget most of the time) i do drink plenty of fluids, drink lots of milk (regular/red) and a lot of carbs and i think a lot of fat and a lot of sugar( :/), i do'nt know how healthy the microwavable/frozen foods are but with those and vitamin pills i mean is that enough to compensate for my bad eating habits?

it kind of took longer than i thought and now i'm running out of time so i had to rush the ending, sorry if it's not very understandable but you can ask me any questions, your opinons would be highly thakful.

Why is it that you only eat 2 meals per day? It is preferable and healthy to eat at least 3, up to 6 meals per day. If you absolutely have to eat these 2 meals, I would suggest you make them healthier- your dinner meal is probably low nutrition and vitamins, high sodium and fat. Your sugar meal is alright if eaten in moderation, but not if it comprises half your intake. You need to eat a breakfast and a lunch, add in more fruits and veggies and lean protein. Dinner can be quick and easy without being a microwavable meal or fast food- look on the internet for quick recipes that a easy to make. Even a sandwich is good- and many fast food places now have healthiier options which are much better than the reast of their menu.

Your diet is extremely unhealthy. Eating a frozen dinner and then 10 cookies at night is terrible for you! Not only are you lacking important nutrients, you are also not eating at proper intervals to keep your metabolism working well.

You should really be eating a breakfast right when you wake up in the morning (something nutritious!) and then a lunch and a dinner with snacks in between. How do you mean your body doesn't get used to it? Your body is very adaptable and can change if you really want it to. I suggest you try and make it do so....
