Hello. first time on this board. My allergies have been getting better and better so I wanted to share what I have done.
First, I started getting allergy shots. I am on my second year, going 1 time per month now. I am so much better. Than I had a surgery to correct my deviated septum. I no longer need to take my allegra or rhinocourt! I just take half of an allergra every once in a while now. (less than 10 times a year!)
Just thought I would share.

I have had allergies most of my life. My asthma had been getting worse over the past year or so, so I went to see an allergist last October. I am getting allergy shots too. I just started getting the monthly shots.

I am allergic to almost everything in the environment. From ragweed to trees, perfumes to cleaning products and dander. Cats will definitely send me to the hospital with an asthma attack, so I stay away from them.

I have seen a big difference since getting the allergy shots. On occasion though I take allegra or flonase for seasonal allergy. Actually, it is almost time for ragweed season so I will be starting Flosnase again.
