View Full Version : WHEN should I be eating?

Hi all,

Okay, so I know that eating every 2 - 3 hours is ideally the best for you, and for the most part I DO stick to that. But there are some days when i am so hungry all through the morning hours while i sit at my desk (between 8 am and 12 pm), and i'd rather eat all the food i brought for lunch and snacks for the day just within that time period instead of stretching it out.

does this make a difference in how my body digests the food and if more/less will be stored as fat? is it true that your insulin levels drop during the afternoon, around 3 or so, and that you should eat to counteract that?

or does all this not matter and its merely the amount of calories you're eating?

thanks!

Well, when you eat really depends on your schedule. Someone who works the nightshift isn't going to eat the same time as someone who works a 9-5 job.

What exactly are you eating? If you're hungry all morning I have to imagine you're either not eating enough in your meals or not eating the right things or both.
