I was thinking about buying a body fat monitor. Everytime i start to go to the gym for several weeks, I noticed I never lose the lbs when I weight myself. So eventaully I give up working out at all. I was thinking of getting a body fat monitor and hopefully I will see myself losing fat and stay motivated.
There seems to be so many different types of body fat monitors on the market. Some are just scales that also measure body fat and some are like complex calculators that require you enter your gender, age and other information. What is the most accurate and best with price in mind? I was looking at the Tanita Ultimate Scale- anyone have any opinions on that?
Thanks!

I wouldn't even bother with it, unless you need a scale & it doesn't cost more than $25. Just my opinion.
I have the exact same brand u r talking about & the "fat %" will vary day to day, depending on how much fat u ate that day or the day before.
U will probably be better off with a measuring tape, caliper, or find a place that does hydrostatic water testing (?)
