Most people i have talked to have said the same thing. The chances of getting herpes with one sexual contac is very rare. Most couples whith one or the other having herpes it take a few contacts to get the virus.

I had on sexual contact that was unportected and very brief. The person did't have any signs of herpes and said they were clean.

What r my odd, im goign crazy.

I am getting tested in 4 weeks and at 6 weeks just to be sure.

I'm not sure what your exact question is.

There are not published "odds" as to chances of transmission of herpes.

You can be infected with just one exposure to herpes. Many people are. If you don't have symptoms, then I don't think there's anything to worry so much about until you get your results. Also, many many people already have herpes with no symptoms. You may find out that's the case with you. Who knows?

Here is what one website says:

Avoid sex during outbreaks as herpes is most contagious during this time. Many couples have sexual relationships for years without transmitting herpes, just by avoiding sexual contact when symptoms are present.

Many couples have sexual relationships for years without transmitting herpes, just by avoiding sexual contact when symptoms are present.

This isn't about the number of exposures, though. This refers to exposure to the virus. Avoiding contact during symptoms means avoiding contanct when the virus is present. Except in the case of asymptomatic shedding, which happens but not always regularly, the virus isn't present to expose a partner. One exposure to the virus can transmit the infection.
