I jsut need to know it, because i had sex with my ex gf last yr. then this yr i had herps breakout. but doctor told me that was a chickenpox virus that stays in my nerve last time i had chickenpox. is herps a sign of HIV symptom? i think my herps is those chicken pox type/.. type II ?

Everyone or almost everyone has been exposed to the virus that causes herpes, that is Varicella....it comes out has cold sores etc. Your doctor would have told you if you had type 1 or type 2 as you can get genital herpes on your lips as you can get oral herpes on your genitalia. Stop looking for something that is not there. If you have had an unprotected sexual relationship with someone by all means get tested........if not.....the stressing and worrying will almost certainly make your hepes worse.
