I was given a script for Ativan to take on a as needed basis.I took one the other night and at first I felt loopy a bit ,then kind of faint,then almost had a anxiety attack,but I laid down and picked up a book.After about 20 mins it was better and my body was relaxed.Are those first reactions typical? I used to take klonopin and the first time I took that I didnt feel those things,so im wondering.

You could have been anxious over taking the pill? It seems like when the pill was supposed to work (20 minutes) it worked exactly as it was supposed to. I think if you ask me everything before that was probably anxiety over what to expect because I don't think you would feel the effects of the pill before those 20 minutes.

id have to agree with Nathan.. same thing happened to me first time i took xanax... and it was definitely just anxiety over what to expect..
