Thank you all for your concern. Yes I have decided to get tested. I knew that this was something that I had to do. It just took a little time and now it's done. My results will be in this Wednesday. I am so scared and feeling anxiety but I know it was a good thing to have done. If I am positive the next step will be to get my 1 year old tested as you may know she was breast fed. That will be the worse out of all of this. So I am praying and always prayed before this situation and am hoping out of any that are answered that my daughter is healthy and hiv negative. This board is so helpful and I dont know any of you but feel for all of you and words can not express my gratitude. I type with tears falling from my eyes. I know that I will be fine and will have tons of support and care from you and hope you are all well and are aware of the help you are giving by advice and words of encouragement. Thanks and I will let you all know what happens!

numb, you've got my prayers and thoughts during this difficult wait period. Try to keep yourself busy...it'll be a few short days and you'll finally be able to stop wondering. I pray with all my heart that you (and your baby girl) are negative.

Well, i'm glad you found the courage deep within you to go get tested...I'm sure everything will work out in the end, but these next few days are going to be unbearable,difficult,they're going to make you cry and make you laugh. it's going to be a hellish rollercoaster, but rest assured, you're fast approaching the home stretch. I will be praying for you and thinking of you.
