Hi Everyone here, I see that this is a very helpful board. Yeah! Everyone here is very honest and encouraging. Your words have inspired me.
This is my third day of not smoking. I was mostly a late night smoker, and only smoke one during the day. It was strange but I had always been like this. Because I now work at a place that has work out machines and weights, I am exercising daily anyway so I am glad I got a head start on working off any weight I may put on. This is and has been a fear of mine for a long time...the weight gain. But...I realized that the smoking was not doing me any good. Cigarrette smoke stinks...and putting perfum on top of cigarrette smoke smells really rotten I think. Plus I felt out of breath, and anxious after smoking so I know I made a good choice. Has anyone gotten anxiety from smoking? This is not my first time quiting, but I want it to be the only and the last time I make this decision again.
Thank you for letting me share my story, and that I QUIT.

Me too!!! I gave up cold turkey on Friday at 2.pm British summer time and I'm about to hit my 72 hour peak then I will be 100% nicotine free.
It's been hard but I've done it and I intend to stay off them for life.
Congratulations fellow quitter. :bouncing:
