I bought silkia oil off of e-bay and have had it a couple of weeks now....it seems to be helping the lines I have on my forehead :)

I just started using it, like, yesterday. So I can't really give a firm answer to this yet, but I can tell you that my skin's initial response was very good. It absorbed nicely, and I don't feel greasy with it on (and I have pretty oily skin). And I love the idea on using something on my face that I can use around my eyes also :)
I have read a lot about camellia oil on the acne boards, and tons of people love it. So I'm tempted to say, yeah, it's legit. But, like I said, I just started using it. I'll let you know in a week or two....

i have been using it for a about 1.5-2months i just wanted to know if anyone has been using it.. im 16 and had some forehead lines.. including 1 really deep one.. 3 of the 4 lines are almost gone but im not sure if thats from the silkia camellia oil or the fact that im not making forehead movements anymore.. i also got some lines under my eyes somehow at 16 also.. so im gonna try it on that... i figure that will be a real test on how it works.

If you have a tendency to make muscle expressions/forehead movements that caused those lines, then I don't see why you did it then and not do it now, unless you had Botox or something like that that paralyzed those muscle movements. So if you didn't Botox or use anything else, then the camellia oil is the reason for the reduction of your lines. Even if you don't make those muscle movements anymore, the lines will not go away on their own.
Before I used this oil, even a tiny muscle movement or expression, like raising my eye brows or speaking up, would accentuate harshly my frown lines. But since those lines were eliminated by the oil after 4 months, there are no more of those lines even if I consciously make rather exaggerated expressions or muscle movements.

I have been using silkia camellia oil now for about 4 months, maybe a bit longer. I have really noticed an improvement in my overall skin appearance. the colour is more even. It is smoother, the lines around my eyes seem to have lessened. I also use the Epidermx along with it and I am loving it. It works better than anything I have tried in the past. It is a bit pricey, but it lasts a long, long time.

that sounds too good to be true.. its hard to believe that you can do as many expressions as you want but nothing shows up.. although its absolutely great if its true.. and i get what your saying about stopping the movements but i am only 16 so im young.. i used to go absolutely nuts in doing forehead expressions so much that ive probably had the deeper line on my forehead before i went into high school.. i think since im young though by not making the movements(only by accident) that my skin can bounce back to normal(that or the oil hopefully).. i have noticed a reduction in all my lines whether that be by not making the expressions or the oil.. im going to keep using the oil regardless and just pray that the lines can be completely gone in a few months.. it just sux having so many lines at 16 yrs old!
joche, do you think that it can get rid of lines over time even if your still making the expressions? like the lines under my eyes.

It's absolutely true, though I don't know why either. So I think it will get rid of your lines over time even if you still make those expressions.
If your lines have been there persistently for a long time (meaning not just showing up ONLY when you make facial movements), they will not disappear without any help, even if you don't make those expressions any more. It's just like a piece of crumbled paper. It won't go back to its previous perfect state even if you don't crumble it any more.
Unless your lines are caused by dryness, in which case they may disappear if you apply some moisturizer. But I don't think your lines are caused by dryness only.
The good thing is since you are young, your skin is more elastic and so can get better and faster results than say, a 60 year old.
I've read that this Silkia camellia oil works well for lines caused by expressions or sun damage. It may not work for deep wrinkles caused by aging. Don't expect miracles if you are 60+ and have deep set wrinkles. But my Mom (over 65) did have pretty good results. She used to have really deep crow's feet but they've been significantly lessened after using this Silkia oil for 5-6 months. So I guess it varies from person to person.

well the lines under my eyes arent too deep.. there pretty small.. i just got them this summer.. i tried a retinol product on them a few times but that made them worse actually...i think my bad sleeping habits are a big factor in it too.. the past 3 days i went to bed early and they actually look smaller.. i dont think i should use any retinol products because i read that a lot of them just exfoliate.. and im young and dont need that.. i heard that good oils are better for reparing skin.. i heard derma butter was good too.. would that be something good to put over the silkia at night?

I don't use the derma butter. You can put it or any cream over the oil.

i have 1 more question.. im going to try estee lauder uncircle for dark circles.. and would i put that on after the silkia and derma butter?.. if so how long should i wait to apply it

I'd put the Estee Lauder after the Silkia but before the derma butter. You can put it on straight after the oil - the oil will carry it deeper into your skin and make it more effective. You may wait 10-15 minutes before putting on the derma butter.

im gonna update my progress using this every few weeks.. my problems were 4 lines on my forehead and lines under my eyes.
after 2 months of silkia on forehead: 2 of the lines have been reduced about 75%.. while the other 2 about 40-50%( one was really deep to begin with)
after 1.5 weeks on eyes: havent noticed anything yet.. but its way too early to tell so i will continue updating.

supercelebs....do you use the camellia oil twice a day or only once. I was using it for my eyes, but it seemed to make them puffy (maybe I was applying too much). I also was applying it on my forehead, but I started to breakout.

ive been using it on my forehead almost twice a day every day for 2 months.. i only didnt use it twice a few times.. and on my eyes for about 2 weeks now..i do have acne.. but it hasnt made it worse really.. it might of made it a little worse but id rather get rid of my lines while im still young because ill probably have a better chance now than when im older.

I've been doing the silkia/epidermx routine for around a month. My forehead broke out, it's probably the worst its ever been. :( The lines are gone, though! But I've been forcing myself not to wrinkle it. And my eyes aren't as puffy anymore, either.

ive been doing the same thing.. trying not to squint anymore.. 2 of the lines i had are pretty much gone.. but i still have one thats still kinda deep... but it was really deep before.. trust me.. im 16 and im unfortunate to be dealing with lines and acne.. and lines are for worse in my opinion.. you grow out of acne.. you dont grow out of lines/wrinkles.. you will be very happy when your forehead clears up and the lines are gone.. im fortunate for my forehead to not really break out though.

After using the camellia oil for a bit, I came to the conclusion that it was breaking me out. I don't really have any lines, so I'd rather not have the breakouts...but it really messed with my skin. Lots of little white heads.
I was using it just around my eyes after I figured it was breaking me out, and then the skin on my temples, right next to my eyes broke out like crazy in these little hard bumps. I NEVER breakout on my temples.
The Camellia oil felt nice initially, but I say if you are trying it for the first time, maybe don't apply on your whole face. Pick a small area and use it for a week or two to make sure you don't react to it. For the people who don't breakout using it, they seem to really love it.
Good luck all...

well it seems like the only complaint im seeing about it is that it breaks some people out.. i have used it for 2 months on my forehead and i havent broke out any more pimples than i originally had.. and i have been using it on my eyes/ cheeks for about 3 weeks now and im fine.. im just wondering when ill start seeing results under my eyes.. like if it will take 3-4 months to see any results.. or if ill slowly see results because i havent seen any yet.

ok another update.. i think its working pretty good.. 2 lines on my forehead are basically completely gone after 11 weeks.. the much deeper line i had is still there but it has gotten quite a bit smaller over this time.. probably about 60-70% smaller and the others about 95%+.. so far i havent seen any results on my eyes tho.. and ive been using it a month.. but i guess ur not supposed to get good results until 3-4 months in.. ill update it again in a few weeks.
