i recently discovered pimple like things on the left side of my chest and am really worried that i may have shingles.i also recently began birth control and im assuming this may be causing my chest to break out. please help me.

Why do you think it has to do with the birth control?

Can you describe the symptoms with more detail? Appearance, itching, exact location, how many, how long ago they appeared?

pimple like things are located on the right side of my chest. there is no itching .they appeared a few days after i began my birth control pills and my menstrual cycle, which im currently seeing. ive had pimples om my chest before .when i try to pop them a whitehead comes out . i also failed to mention that i suffer from really bad foliculitis. i dunno what could be the cause of this. im really worried

Sounds like it could be any one of the three things you think it is. I would definitely ask your doctor for an appointment because you seem very worried. Good luck.
