Can anyone give me some feed-back on Physicians Formula Mineral Wear? I have been using Bare Minerals for over a year now, and I like it. But sometimes, when I get warm, my face feels a little itchy. Also, it's pricey and I have to drive over 40 Min. to the nearest Ultra store to buy it. I thought I'd try the Physicians Formula after seeing it mentioned on this board. I saw it at the store and the label say it's "mineral face powder"...it doesn't say it's a foundation. Does it cover as well as the other mineral foundations like Bare Minerals? Does it stay on all day? The price is less than half that of Bare Minerals and you can find it at almost any store, so I like that. I'd like to hear from some of you that have tried it before I shell out more money on a product that I won't use. Thanks!

I saw an info-mercial about Bare Minerals and I wanted to try it...but couldn't afford it. I just bought alot of Physicians Formula make-up. I have a powder, blush, lipgloss and eye shadow. Ulta was having a sale, buy 2 get 1 free and I got the lipgloss free with the blush, so it was a good deal.
I've never used the Bare Minerals so I can't compare, but the P. F. is very light, feels like you aren't wearing anything at all. They also have a really cool powder that is in the green tones and that is supposed to help with any red spots. I like the P.F. and I would suggest that you try it, if you don't like it you haven't really lost that much money.
I have both, and they are completely different products. The Physician's formula is not a foundation, and, at least in my drugstores, they don't have a foundation. The product they carry is a mineral powder, like for over your foundation. It's actually really nice, or maybe for someone that only uses powder and not foundation. The color is nice, and they have a translucent mineral powder as well.
But the coverage is nothing like Bare Minerals. I love Bare Minerals, but I don't have the money to get more right now.
I'd say try the Physician's Formula, unless what you really want is a foundation for coverage. But they do have nice concealers.
Just wanted to say that I was at Wal Mart today, and they carry a Physician's Formula foundation, but it isn't mineral. I bought the translucent mineral powder because the beige one I have is a little tan for my pale skin. I'll let you know what I think....

I have used both. Did not like the Bare Minerals at all, did not stay on and the coverage was very blotchy. I like the Physcians Formula alot better, to me it covers better. Nothing stays on my face very good in the mineral make-up line. I have used several. The best foundation is Estee Lauder's full coverage make-up - comes in a tube and covers my dark circles under my eyes - do not have to use any other concealer. It is a littler pricy - $30.00 a tube, but it lasts for over a year. :bouncing:
