Hi,
I recently was told by my dr. that I had chlamydia. The dr. prescribed my b/f and I 2 tablets of azithromycin (the tablets were to be taken at the same time) I took mine on Fri. he took his on Sun. When should we have sex again? I have a check-up on Aug. 31, should we just wait until then to be safe?
Thanks

Thank you.
This is all I could find too.
*All sex partners should be evaluated, tested, and treated. Persons with chlamydia should abstain from sexual intercourse until they and their sex partners have completed treatment, otherwise re-infection is possible.*
We have completed treatment. But I'm still a little scared.

You can have sex anytime, provided you use condoms (for oral sex, too). After that, and provided the doctor was sure you all had nothing else, then after a week you should be safe. Ask your doctor to see if he thinks followup testing is needed (I suppose he doesn't think so if he didn't ask to see you both again).
