I have a friend who swears by locally produced honey....so that the pollens used to make it by the bees are the one growing locally. However, I tried it and didn't get any benefit. If you can find some at a local produce market or the like, it wouldn't cost much to try.

For pollen allergies I use homeopathic remdies. They work like a charm, and no side effects.

Hi
For the swelling and inflamation I get form my allergies, I take Quercitin ( any drugstore or GNC) which is a Riboflavenoid. It helps just as a prescript antinflamatory such as Medrol. Also drinking lots of juices ( freshly prepaired), green tea, Cleansing formula ( GNC) which helps taking toxin out of your body. I have searched all over the internet to find out what causes my body to have such a multitute of allergies and came to the conclusion, that our body's store toxin especially in the Colon, so every 2 month or so I take one day where I only drink ( no food , just fruit smoothy)natural juices, tea and homemade brooth and I have been much better and don't get reaction as often or severe as I use too. Many web pages also incourage using Enema to cleans out the Colon. May want to try
good luck

Taking Vitamin C, Quercetin and Omega 3 fatty acids help some to keep my allergies under control, but I still take all the medicine too.
