Hi everyone,
Just a few questions for you. Can allergies cause a lump feeling in your throat? I went to an ent for a scope and she said my larynx was red and swollen, thought it was gerd. Gerd medicines have done nothing for me. My neck always feels swollen but it looks ok. I have pnd, I was up all last night coughing. I've been taking generic claritin and started using nasonex a couple of days ago. I can't breathe through my nose, it seems I don't get enough air and have had terrible headaches for the last week. Had a ct scan done years ago that said minimal deviation, minimal patchy mucosal thickening. A 2.2 cm mucous retention cyst or polyp. Bilateral infundibular and left spheno-ethmoid recess narrowing. The ent sent me on my way with these results back in 1995.
I feel like crap for the past 1-1/2 yrs. Always tired, always aware of my neck.

Any input??????

thanks

Allergies can cause PND and PND can definitely affect your throat. Has your ENT suggested anything in regards to your sinuses? I would ask for another CT scan. 10 years ago is a long time, things have probably changed.
