I have been on the depo shot for 2 years, after a GYN appt earlier this month he revealed that the depo shot had caused an extreme thinning of my uterun/cervical walls and that I needed to get off of it NOW  Not sure if this is something that happens to everyone, but I am def. getting off of it. My question is, what should I expect after having no periods for 2 years, will I get heavily bleeding or what? That is what I am scared of

Most women who stop using Depo have 1 of 2 things occur: they either bleed for several weeks/months, or do not get a period for several months. There's no way to know what will happen in your case.

There are also reports of mood swings, acne, etc.
