The doctor put me on Corgard to prevent my headaches and Relpax, if I get one. Has anyone had any luck with either?

Hi Shortysmom,
I use to take Corgard and it is for High Blood Pressure. I checked to be sure on the internet. I liked it, but was taken of it for some reason. This was several yrs. ago. I don't know anything about Relpax. I hope you have good luck with them.

I take Relpax for migraines. I like it. It works well for me. It seems to get rid of the migraine radther quickly. I don't notice any side effects really; maybe a little drowsiness, but not too bad, and it doesn't last. I have tried several types of migraine medication, and I like Relpax the best.

I also take Relpax, but my doc told me to take it at the first sign of a Migraine, otherwise it won't work. (I don't know if that is relevant) My experiences with Relpax have been quite strange, it does relieve the Migraine, but the side effects that i experience are extreme muscle fatigue, drowsiness and upset stomache. But that's just me, you may not have any side effects at all. Everybody is different, but good luck!

Relpax works great for me. I do notice a few minor side effects, but after having a migraine, it doesn't matter as long as that headache is gone! My only problem is my insurance doesn't cover Relpax, but my husband says not to worry, it is worth the cost.

I also take Relpax when I get a migraine and that stuff works great for me too. My insurance also doesn't like to pay for Relpax, but it is worth the cost. Good luck.
