hello, I have been having pain below my eye for a week. It's like right below the eyelid. If I touch it even slightly it hurts. I have switched to my glasses from contacts but it doesn't seem to help. If i press on the eye itself or upper eyelid their is no pain at all. What in the world can this be? I'm getting my teeth checked today but doubt a bad tooth is the cause.

get it checked ASAP; no, it's got nothing to do with your teeth. It might be an imbalance of fluid preasure, bacterial/foreign object, fatigue, blood preasure, or onset of glaucoma; lot's of things can cause eye pain. I had eye pains/flutter from crying and too much computer time; was given acetametaphine. With optometry in every mall nowadays, any competent optometrist should be able to examine you.
